Evidence of Identity (POI) and bookings are essential
Proof of Identity (POI) requirements by Marine Safety Victoria are very strict. POI is to be presented to the course trainer BEFORE an applicant can participate in the boat licence course.
Only original POI documents are admissible, copies, certified or otherwise, are not. Birth extracts and Commemorative birth certificates are not accepted.
